Elevator Pitch No. 2

There wasn't a ton of negative feedback for my first elevator pitch, but I knew I wasn't dressed professionally and I had my laptop placed below eye contact, so the video was filmed a little awkwardly.
This time, I went to a brightly lit area and wore business casual clothing. I also tried placing the camera at a higher elevation, which filmed me from a better angle. The first time I tried filming my pitch, I had to redo it a bunch because I was talking fast and messing up. This attempt took one try since I spoke slowly and was less nervous.

Hi Kristen! After watching your elevator pitch I really liked how you addressed your opportunity to the viewer! you thoroughly explained it and made it very clear what your proposal is. I do think that dressing professionally in your video was also helpful in defining your credibility. I on the other hand did not dress professionally in my elevator pitch and I definitely should have. I think you did very well and if an investor ever was to come across your elevator pitch, they would definitely be contacting you for further information!

ReplyDeleteI thought you improved your elevator pitch a lot the second time around. You seem a lot more relaxed and I thought that you were more confident this time around as well. I noticed the same thing with my second elevator pitch. I hope to continue to get better at my elevator pitch and I hope you do as well.
James
Hi Kristen! I enjoyed your elevator pitch and how you let your ideas flow naturally. I liked how you spoke with confidence. Confidence is something that can make or break your pitch for yourself. If you don't have confidence in yourself then it will be hard for anyone else to put confidence in you so this is a good trait.
